Do I Need To Be Computer Savvy To Use Google Adsense?

Autor: robindarch

You don't have to be a techno-geek to use Google Adsense. In fact, you don't need any more technical knowledge than you do to surf the web. Google Adsense is very user-friendly with a comprehensive support site to answer any question you might have.

You are first walked through the sign-up process where you are prompted for any and all information needed. You will then have a couple of days while you are waiting for your account to be approved. This would be a good time to familiarize yourself with the program policies, which of course you read before you signed up. But look again. Make sure the site you are registering doesn't have any of the no-nos listed. For instance, some profanity is allowed, but nothing excessive. What is excessive? That could be a gray area, but if you're in doubt, don't register that site. There's plenty of sites with little or no profanity.

Look at the support site while you are waiting on Google Adsense and see what other's are saying and doing. Most of all, have fun. Your Google Adsense dollars are just waiting to be counted.

Does Google Adsense Offer Direct Deposit?

Google adsense offers various payment options for publishers.

Electronic Funds Transfer (ETF) is offered in 16 countries whereby your payments are deposited directly into your bank account in your local currency. Check Google Adsense support to see which countries participate in this option. You will need to sign up for this option after your application is approved by signing into your account. You then click the edit link adjacent to the payment header. After you fill out the bank information, Google Adsense will make a small test deposit into your account. This is for security purposes to assure the account is really your own.

Watch your account for the test deposit to post, usually within just a few days. After you have received the deposit from Google, log back in to your account and in the Payment Details section, click Verify Account. You then will need to enter the amount of the test deposit. If you do not complete this step, your payments will be on hold. Once you enter the test deposit amount correctly, your bank will be approved and selected as your form of payment.

Protect Your Adsense Income !

Autor: iwilliam99

Many web site owners are getting their Google Adsense account terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve the punishment. Considering the money that they are getting from Adsense, they would certainly want to get back into it.

Considering the money to be made with Adsense, it is no wonder that they would want to get back into it.

It is that same consideration why the Google Adsense click fraud is thought of and why many people are getting into it.

Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. Many people website owners are aware of this fraud and are sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Adsense is facing.

How do you prevent being involved in this fraud?

Majority of web hosts are offering access logs. Once this is offered to you, it is necessary that you hand it over to Google as well. This allows them to look for any suspicious activity on your site. Problems like this are very serious and giving it to them is saying that you would want to help them in any way you can in solving the problem.

It can also help if you have a click monitoring software. If you do not have one yet, you should try and get one. There is absolutely no major factor preventing you from having one because most of this software is free.

As usual, all the information you have received should be turned over to Google. This is showing Google that you too are fighting against click frauds and is in no way a part of it.

Study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing.

You may want to consider disabling ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not make Google mistake another user as you. You can do through a htaccess file. This will avoid Google mistaking as clicking on your own ads and be kicked out because of it.

Keep your Adsense off on pop ups and pop unders. Your ads should not be displayed on content sites that promote illegal activity or tampering of the legal rights of other people or business. Included in this are the content that is considered adult and gambling ones. If you think that you may be breaking this rule, immediately remove your content or Adsense from the web page.

Be truthful and confess up to Google about times when you might have clicked on your own as, whether accidentally or intentionally. Or the times when you have done something that is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Be honest about anything that you may have done that is wrong. Confessing is way better than Google learning about it eventually. It would mean eventual termination and no getting back what you have worked so hard for.

Do not tell your family or friends about Adsense on your website. Chances are they may start clicking on them to help you make money without you knowing it. They may be doing more harm to you than help by trying it in the first place.

If ever someone you know chanced upon your Adsense, make sure they understand that they cannot click on your ads under any circumstances. It would be wise to brief them on important things about Adsense and what not to do with them.

Most pay per click networks have different measures in hand to protect website owners against click frauds. Other search engines can track more than 50 data points, IP address, browser's information, user's session info and pattern recognition. They also have "systems" available that detects fraud. Not to mention the specialized teams monitoring how things are going and helping advertisers stop click frauds.

Google offers suggestion on how to avoid click fraud. Using "negative keywords" can be used to keep your Adsense showing on products and services that are in no way related to yours. Adding tracking URLs to your links so you can track the traffic coming from Google.

Do not be caught in the Google click fraud. Be aware and be wary.

I Want 30,000 Visitors And I Know How To Get Them, Do You?

Autor: liztomey

Pick a number. Any number. We're talking the number of people you want to get to your site each month. I'll pick 30,000. Why did I pick this number? Well, I have ten websites, and I get an average of $26 per 1,000 visitors per site. Knowing that, as long as I get 1,000 visitors to each of my sites each day, I'll make $260 a day. That's $1,820 a week. 1,000 visitors a day averages out to about 30,000 visitors a month. This all sounds great, but I bet you want to know how you can do the same thing.

There are three different ways I use to get 1,000 people a day to each of my sites, and I'll explain each of them to you. It's very easy and only requires simple math and you deciding where you to want to put the most focus.

Let's start with the first way.

First you'll need to find a keyword that gets 1,000 searches a day. Next you'll create a web page that is optimized for that one keyword. After that page has been completed, you'll need to get as many links as you can to that page. This will help your page rank, and get you ranked higher in the search engines for your keyword.

The only problem with this strategy is it's very hard to get top rankings for only one keyword. Also, with a keyword that gets 1,000 searches a day, you're probably going to have a lot of competition. So before you try this strategy, make sure to research how hard it will be to out rank your competition.

I only use this strategy when I find I don't have much competition for the keyword. This strategy can take a lot of work, but can really pay off in the long run. Meaning you could make a lot more money with just this one keyword through Adsense or other affiliate revenue.

The second strategy I use is similar to the first strategy except you will find 10 keywords that get 100 searches a day. That's still 1,000 searches a day, so you'll still be able to reach your 30,000 visitors a month goal. Once you find your 10 keywords that get 100 searches a day, you'll create an optimized web page for each keyword. Once you have all your web pages built, you'll need to get as many links to each page as you can.

This is an attractive strategy because keywords with 100 searches a day usually have much less competition that keywords that get 1000 searches a day. The only draw back of this strategy is that you have to work harder and more at getting links. You need to get as many links as you can for each of the 10 web pages. So basically, you have to work 10 times harder to getting links.

There's one last strategy I'd like to talk about, and this time you are going to find 500 keywords that get 2 searches a day. That's still 1,000 searches a day and about 30,000 searches a month. Create an optimized web page for each of your keywords. Last but not least, you'll need to get a few links to your site.

This is a great strategy if you don't like or want to work on getting links to your site. If you like to create content more than work on getting links to your site then this is the way to go. You really don't have to worry about competition when you're dealing with keywords that get two searches a day.

I tend to use the second strategy the most because it offers a balance between creating content and getting links to your site. Any of the strategies will work, but it's up to you to decide where you want to put your efforts.

So, pick a number. Any number. Pick a strategy that suites you and start getting 30,000 visitors a month to your site.

Search Engines 101 Paid Vs. Natural Search

Search Engines 101 Paid Vs. Natural Search

Autor: tkdterry

Whenever folks want to store this getting involved in Internet marketing the first thing that comes to their mind is what the difference between natural search and paid search is. Both strategies have their pros and cons but can be very effective as part of a marketing strategy. The following article is a brief description of both natural and paid search strategies.

Paid search is when your ad shows up at the very top of a Google search or down the right hand side of the results page. These are called “sponsored ads”. You pay for those positions. When every you click on one of those ads the owner of the ad pays Google. This is also called “pay-per-click”. The amount you pay is determined by several factors including what you are willing to pay every time someone clicks on your ad.

Natural Search is when you type in a “keyword" and a link and a description shows up on left hand side of the search result page. The only way to get on the first page is to have very relevant content on your web site and links to your site from other relevant sites. This is a long process for people in it for the long haul. There are a lot of companies that claim to be able to get you on the first page of Google. That may be true if the “search term” is very specific and no one else would ever search for it but you or they are using a “black hat” method that could get you site banned from the search engine.

Search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN are really just data bases. When you do a Google Search you are not searching the “world wide web” you are searching Google’s data base. There are two ways to get in to these databases. One is to submit your site to the different search engines. In about 6 to 9 weeks the search engine will index your site. They have software that comes to your site and index every page and adds it to the database. They come into your main web URL and follow the links to all the pages of your site. They capture key elements from the code on your page to the content. These are then stored in the data base. When someone puts a keyword in the search box the “algorithms” determine the best page or links to the best pages for your search.

The other way to get added to the search engines data base is to have the search engine software find you through a link to your site from another web site back to yours. The software, called “spiders” will periodically comeback and re crawl your site to see if you have updated it.

One important thing to know is that each page on your site is indexed individually and each page stands on its own. The ranking are based upon the combination of correct meta tags, relevant content to the keyword they are trying to get rankings for and link popularity. Mostly one way links back to their site from relevant sites.

As long as the search engine can index the site, clearly read the meta tags and content, the better. The big issues come when a site is built in flash with very little content (search engines cannot read or index "flash" sites. Also, if the bulk of the relevant content is in PDF format this is bad because the search engines cannot read PDF. If the search engines cannot index the relevant text there will be no rankings.

You all ready know this but "sites" are not ranked, individual pages are ranked for specific terms found in the content of that page as well as link popularity, (relevant links pointing back to that specific page) for the term that you are trying to get ranked on.
This is why each page has to be giving very specific attention.

Bottom line: Paid search means you pay for your position. The benefit is if you have the $$ you will get instant traffic. Stop paying and the traffic goes away. Natural search is free traffic but it is built over time. The advantage is that if done right, it can provide traffic for a long time.

Search traffic (paid or natural) is the BEST traffic to have because you are being found by folks who are specifically looking for what you have. It does not get any better than that.
